Day 7

Unexplained, random stream of consciousness while traveling through northern Slovakia and south east Poland:

Bucolic, pastoral, hay piles like Little Boy Blue fell asleep under

groceries at Tesco for 28 euros (enough food for three days ... Funny how suddenly one wants to buy tons of cheap bread)

Alpine mountains, houses like in Switzerland

Who invented window boxes?

Construction on houses in various states, lived in but what is the last touch, garden, outside walls stucco?

Things we see remind us of other places, it looks like...  Wind River Canyon or the fields of Nebraska

Various downpours through the day

Fresh cut hay, amber waves of grain

fields of solar panels????  What an idea!  That must limit dependency on oil!

Road sides stands selling blueberries, watermelons and what else

chicken and geese roaming the yards. ... Don't the dogs eat them???

Carmen San Diego took us on the wrong road but we arrived in Przemyśl , Poland, checked into the crocus Hotel for two nights, bought train tickets to Lviv for 3 in the morning, and went to bed ....
